It’s a Good Day to be Gay
Today Civil Union laws go into effect in Illinois. There is a required waiting period of 24 hours after getting your papers before you can get hitched. That means, tomorrow the gay wedding excitement begins. (Happens to also be my birthday…Social Justice is one hell of a birthday present!)

There are a few spots that are offering “Mass Civil Union Ceremonies”
Illinois is now one of 6 states that allow civil unions. You know what an even better birthday present would be? Social justice for the ENTIRE country. We’ll get there. Congrats to all the soon-to-be NewlyUnionized <—I’m totally copyrighting that!
